F/m Investments (“F/m”), a $20 billion investment firm and innovative provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced the launch of the F/m Long-Term Treasury Inflation-Protected Security (TIPS) ETF (Nasdaq: RTHY), the first ETF concentrated exclusively on 30-year U.S. TIPS.
“RTHY extends our inflation-protected ETF series, giving investors more precision and control at the long end of the curve, just as RBIL did at the short end,” said F/m Investments CEO Alexander Morris. “By packaging 30-year TIPS in an ETF, we’re giving investors a simple way to own the longest-dated inflation-indexed bonds the U.S. Treasury issues.”
Real yields on 30-year TIPS are near multi-decade highs, at 3.18% as of October 16, according to the U.S. Treasury. At the same time, equity valuations and inflation fears remain elevated, conditions that make ultra-long inflation-indexed bonds attractive.
RTHY tracks the Bloomberg U.S. TIPS 25+ Year Equal Weight Index, which currently holds the five most recently issued 30-year TIPS. Like F/m’s other fixed-income ETFs, RTHY will target monthly distributions.
“For ultra-long-horizon investors, 30-year TIPS pair the credit of the U.S. Treasury with principal that adjusts for inflation,” said Peter Baden, Director of Fixed Income Strategy at F/m Investments. “RTHY empowers pension funds, endowments, and individuals saving for retirement to diversify away from equities and hedge against unexpected inflation, all within an inflation-indexed liquid ETF.”
For asset allocators, retirement planners, insurance companies, and endowments, RTHY offers CPI-linked exposure to 30-year real yields in a single ETF.
When paired with the F/m Ultrashort Treasury Inflation-Protected Security (TIPS) ETF (Nasdaq: RBIL), RTHY enables a “barbell” strategy with inflation-indexed exposure at both ends of the curve, giving advisors control over real-rate exposure without compromising liquidity.

Disclosures
The Bloomberg U.S. TIPS 25+ Year Equal Weight Index measures the performance of the U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) market with greater than or equal to twenty-five years to maturity with each constituent weighted equally by market value. Federal Reserve SOMA holdings of U.S. TIPS are excluded from the face amount outstanding of each bond in the index.
Concentration Risk. The Fund may be susceptible to an increased risk of loss, including losses due to adverse events that affect the Fund’s investments more than the market as a whole, to the extent that the Fund’s investments are concentrated in a particular issue, issuer or issuers, country, market segment, or asset class. Duration Risk. Duration is a measure of the price sensitivity of a debt security or portfolio to interest rate changes. Duration risk is the risk that longer-duration debt securities will be more volatile and thus more likely to decline in price, and to a greater extent, in a rising interest rate environment than shorter-duration debt securities. Fixed-Income Market Risk. When the Fund invests in fixed income securities, the value of your investment in the Fund will fluctuate with changes in interest rates. High Portfolio Turnover Risk. The Fund may incur relatively high portfolio turnover. The active and frequent trading of the Fund’s portfolio securities may result in increased transaction costs to the Fund, including brokerage commissions, dealer mark-ups and other transaction costs, which could reduce the Fund’s return. Index-Related Risk. There is no guarantee that the Fund’s investment results will have a high degree of correlation to those of the Underlying Index or that the Fund will achieve its investment objective. Inflation-Linked Securities Risk. In general, the value of an inflation-linked security, including TIPS, will typically decrease when real interest rates (nominal interest rates reduced by the expected impact of inflation) increase and increase when real interest rates decrease. New Fund Risk. The Fund is a newly organized, management investment company with a limited operating history. In addition, there can be no assurance that the Fund will grow to, or maintain, an economically viable size, in which case the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of The RBB Fund, Inc. (the “Company”) may determine to liquidate the Fund. Passive Investment Risk. Although the Fund is permitted to invest up to 100% of its assets in money market instruments for temporary defensive or liquidity purposes, the Adviser generally does not attempt to invest the Fund’s assets in defensive positions.
